Headquartered in Kuwait International Airport, Al Farwaniyah, Kuwait Airways, is the national carrier of the country.The airline runs regular international flights across the Middle East and the rest of the world including, Southeast Asia, Europe and North America. Sometime in 1942 a rented Comet 4-C flew as the first jet-powered airline in the world. Thereafter, the routes grew quickly and networking began, and Kuwait Airways was soon flying London three times a week. By 1978 Kuwait Airways was hosting wide-body aircrafts and progressively has never looked back since.
