An American rental company, Hertz Corporation, is headquartered in Estero, Florida and operates the Hertz brand alongside others such as Dollar, Firefly and Thrifty. Considered the largest of the three rental holding firms in the United States, it commands a market share of around 36% surpassing the AVIS Budget Group and Enterprise Holdings. A subsidiary of Hertz Global Holdings, Hertz is one of the most recognized brands worldwide and even sells cars through the Hertz Car Sales brand. Besides it also has a trucking division called Hertz Truck & Van, leasing and fleet management under Hertz Lease and film production carried out under Hertz Entertainment Services.
