About Disney Cruise Line
A subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company, Disney Cruise Line has its operational headquarters in Celebration, Florida, through its first ship, Disney Magic. Founded in 1996, as the Magical Cruise Company Ltd, it was initially domiciled in England. The company also a private island in the Bahamas known as Castaway Cay. This acts as an exclusive port of call for Disney ships. A 700-acre property called Lighthouse Point, another private destination is located on the southern end of Eleuthra, which is scheduled to open soon.
