About Crystal Cruises

Headquartered in Downers Grove, Illinois, Crystal Cruises was formed sometime in 1988 by Nippon Yusen Kaisha, a Japanese shipping firm. It was later acquired by Genting Hong Kong, in 2015 and had its main office in Hong Kong. The A&K Travel Group purchased the name along with two cruise ships in 2022, with plans to conduct operations in a big way in 2023. Several enhancements and refurbishments have been made in a Fincantieri shipyard, which include increasing number of butler suites in the ships. Crystal Cruises promises exceptional journeys, dining and other destination experiences to its clients.
